How does it work ?
The Exchange is like a co-operative of web page, or web site, owners. Each member displays the other members banners for free, using the special HTML code on their page provided by our Exchange. It's quite simple to implement. When you register you will receive the special HTML code to be pasted to your web site page(s). Once pasted , your site will then start to expose banners for other members sites immediately, for which you will receive credits. Then, once you have submitted your banner, your site and banner will be reviewed and approved. Your banner will then in turn be exposed on other member sites, up to the level of credits you have accrued on your site, plus any free bonus exposures you may have gained.

Who can be a member?

What is a Banner Farm? and Why are they not welcome?
Banner Farms are pages containing clusters of more than 3 banners. Banners displayed in such places have little or no advertising value to the member as they are not easily noticed by viewers of the page. People who use this method are trying to multiple the number of Exchange credits they earn, however are cheating the other members, because they are not providing true reciprocal advertising. If banners are not displayed on the page in a position where it has a good chance of being reviewed by the surfers, than your membership is not wanted and sites found breaching will be terminated
-
Is there any hidden cost to membership of this service?
No. Our Exchange is totally FREE of Charge. You need to expose other member's banners on your site to earn reciprocal exposures.

How do I use multiple page features in the HTML code?
To get maximum credits for banners on multiple pages (creidit for every page viewed by a visitor) you need to number each set of code pasted. You can have sites statistics, including page hit counter, automatically for up to 99 pages. These are all listed on the same report page of your account . You simply paste HTML code with a different page number on each of your sites pages.

When will my member account begin to receive banner exposure credits for hits to my page?
During registration our server will generate a special HTML code to be pasted to your page(s). Once pasted to your page(s), your page(s) will then start to expose other members banners immediately, for which you will receive credits. Then, once you have submitted your banner, and your account is reviewed by us and activated, your banner will be exposed on other member sites, up to the level of credits you have accrued on your site

Can I see where my banner is displayed?
Well, It is possible to arrive at another members page and have your banner be the next one due to be served. But its not easy. The banners are served up by our server according to a formula to ensure high volume and low volume users are disbursed evenly throughout the day as far as practical. Otherwise all of your few hard earned impressions for that day could be delivered to just one person surfing around on a members site who is not interested in your product. So we have an automatic daily cycle where every member that has available credits at the start time is added to the days normal cycle list. Then we have a High Volume users list where you will be added instead, if your balance exceeds "X" credits at the start time. The system then revolves through the Normal cycle list and also inserts the next banner from the revolving High Volume list every "Y" banners. It is impossible to predict how many banners will be displayed on any day (demand for banners is determined by the number of member's pages viewed) nor is it easy to predict how many credits members will have available for any day. Also we have bulk ad buyers coming along at random changing the number of people in the High Volume cycle and therefore changing the number of exposures it takes to get through one normal cycle revolution. Then we have targeting and blocking whereby the page being viewed may have blocked the next banner in turn or the next banner in turn may not be targeted to that page. So you can see that it is quite complicated and the server basically makes the choice of which banner to serve at the instant it is required.
